Why Partner with Cory Nickols Ministries?

Cory Nickols Ministries is a non-denominational Christian based Non-Profit organization that has a mandate from God to help the hurting and afflicted worldwide. Cory, founder and CEO of CNM, is no stranger to hurt and pain. At the age of 16 he experienced the agony of his parents’ divorce and a short time later was sexually abused by a close family friend. In college he faced a period of severe doubt about the existence of God and questioned Christianity and many other world religions; eventually stooping deep into depression, he almost committed suicide. Around the same time, Cory started suffering homosexual thoughts and feelings and gave into them. Broken beyond repair, Cory cried out to Jesus Christ with all his heart and asked for His divine intervention. At just the right time, God answered Cory’s cry for help and 12 years later God has healed, restored and given Cory a message of hope to share of the healing power of God’s amazing grace, love and acceptance. Jesus Christ can redeem and transform any person into a trophy of His wonderful grace and it is this message that burns in his soul! Over time, God stirred Cory’s heart to start a ministry that would help people who were broken and beaten down in life and offer them the unconditional love and mercy of Jesus Christ – to help set captives free from addictions, wrong mindsets, and strongholds of any kind. Cory wants people to understand they can experience the same peace and joy he found in a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Cory Nickols Ministries has three main ministry objectives.

1.  Helping set people free through written media

Currently, Cory writes a weekly blog sharing biblical truths that has gained an international following. His blog has provided encouragement and hope to thousands all over the world. He also is a freelance writer and columnist for the Good News in south Florida. Cory’s articles alone reach over 250,000 people a month and are benefitting people of all ages and cultural backgrounds.

One lady recently wrote regarding Cory’s article How To Have Great Relationships, “…Thank you. We read it as a family and I think we are on our way to healing relationships between siblings. I can already see the effects. You are a true blessing. Keep up the great work.”

CNM desires to expand its audience with other magazine and newspaper publishing companies, and to write books in the near future.

2.  Helping set people free through public speaking engagements, conferences and media driven avenues

Cory is a gifted communicator and shares life transforming messages through public speaking engagements, conferences, podcasts and CD series. CNM is determined to use the most powerful forms of media to reach a lost hurting world with the love of Jesus Christ. As God opens doors, CNM will seek radio and TV opportunities and hold its own conferences to continue touching people’s lives with God’s love.

Cory just spoke at a Youth for Christ event and 6 young kids accepted Christ for the first time and 36 others rededicated their lives to the Lord out of 60 students.  Jarod Brown, a Youth for Christ staff member, commented on Cory’s message, “Cory delivered a message from God in a way for those listening to understand and relate to, which impacted many lives.” At the end of the message, Students were asked to express how Cory’s life story and the prayer of salvation impacted them.

One young person wrote, “This prayer meant more than anyone could imagine. I have needed God in the past month and I finally have Him to look to.”

Another wrote, “Cory’s talk about his struggles really let me feel less alone about what I have gone through. This prayer made me face up and realize it is time to change my ways and try to have more faith in God.”

Cory also speaks regularly at churches, conferences, college campuses and anywhere he is invited to share the truths God has revealed to him.

He recently spoke at Envision Church and a woman shared, “… thank you for your message yesterday. I felt like you and I were having our own conversation. I am going thru such a rough season that your message left me feeling like my soul was being washed clean and I am starting to feel that God does love me…”

3.  Helping the hurting and needy through acts of kindness and humanitarian aid relief efforts worldwide

CNM is currently making a big difference around the world.

Haiti

We have done much work in Haiti, helping build a church for a Pastor in Les Cayes. We have also been instrumental in starting an elementary school so that 110 kids could get an excellent education that would otherwise not be able to – giving them a bright future!

Thailand

Cory Nickols will be moving to Thailand for at least a year to write on behalf of children around the world caught in sex slavery. The Bible says, “Speak up for the people who have no voice, for the rights of all the down-and-outers. Speak out for justice! Stand up for the poor and destitute” (Proverbs 31:8-9 MSG)!  God wants US, His people, to be a voice for those that can’t speak up for themselves. We are to intervene in their oppressive situations and help them. God has asked CNM to step up and take action, of which, we are glad to do. The organization Cory will be writing for is a Christian Non-Profit organization called Destiny Rescue. Their mission is to end human trafficking around the world and be a voice for the voiceless. The moment Cory heard their vision, saw the hundreds of children they have freed and what was happening in Thailand and various other places around the world, he knew he had to get involved.

There are over 27 million men, women and children currently enslaved in human trafficking around the world – that’s more slaves in the world today than at any other time in human history! In fact, every 26 seconds, someone is forced into slavery. According to the UN Office of Drugs and Crime, “Human trafficking is the fastest growing international crime, and one of the largest sources of income for organized crime.” It brings in 32 billion dollars a year, which is 6 times more income than Google, Nike and Starbucks combined!

God declares in the book of Isaiah, “Rather is not this the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every [enslaving] yoke” (Isaiah 58:6 AMP)? God is pleased when we take action against injustice and set free those held in bondage!

CNM has a huge opportunity to do just that – liberating thousands of kids from the sex trafficking industry!

Together We Can Make A Difference

One person can only do so much but collectively we can make a significant difference in the lives of broken hurting people. God has called Cory to take that next step into full time ministry. Through monthly financial partnership Cory Nickols Ministries can take the gospel message to the ends of the earth by focusing its time and energy on the many writings, books, speaking engagements, conferences and humanitarian relief efforts God appointed it to accomplish.

Expanding Our Reach

The Bible says, “Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities” (Isaiah 54:2-3).

God has called Cory Nickols Ministries to stretch out and reach more people than ever before. In order to do so, we need PARTNERS who catch the vision and can run with us! Will you prayerfully consider becoming a month supporter of this ministry? Any amount will help be it large or small. It is when we all work together that something significant can take place.

If you decide to support CNM, you will eventually receive tax credit for your donation. Cory Nickols Ministries is in the process of applying for its 501-c3 Non-Profit tax exemption status with the IRS.
